Return & Refund Policy

This Return & Refund Policy applies to all domestic and international orders placed via williamfan.com.


1. Right of Withdrawal / Return Period

Customers may return eligible items within:

  • 14 days for orders delivered within the EU,

  • 21 days for orders delivered outside the EU (extended to compensate international shipping times),

starting from the day you or a person designated by you (excluding the carrier) take(s) physical possession of the goods.


2. How to Initiate a Return

To exercise your right of return, you must notify us via a clear written statement (email is sufficient):

Submitting a return request within the return period is sufficient to meet the deadline.


3. Return Requirements

Returned products must be:

  • in original, unused, unworn condition

  • with all original components: tags, labels, accessories, packaging, dust bags, boxes

  • free from wear, scents, damage, alterations, or removed tags

We cannot accept:

  • worn or washed items

  • items with removed or damaged tags

  • custom-made or personalized items

  • underwear, socks, or other hygiene-sensitive products

  • “Final Sale” items (clearly marked on the product page)


4. Return Shipping (Domestic & International)

4.1. Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are always borne by the customer, regardless of delivery country.

4.2. Packaging & Shipping Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • secure, appropriate packaging

  • choosing a trackable and insured shipping service

  • ensuring the parcel arrives safely at our return address

We are not responsible for lost or undelivered return shipments.


5. Returns From Non-EU Countries

To avoid customs delays, all international returns must be:

5.1 Declared as “Returned Goods”

You must clearly mark the shipment as:

“Returned Goods – No Commercial Value”

Failure to do so often results in:

  • customs fees

  • rejection by customs

  • return-to-sender issues

  • extended delays

5.2 Customs Duties & Fees

All customs duties, import taxes, handling fees, and related charges for return shipments must be prepaid by the customer.

We cannot accept returns when:

  • customs charges have not been prepaid

  • the parcel is held by customs

  • the parcel requires us to pay duties upon receipt

Such shipments will be rejected.


6. Refunds

After we receive and inspect your return, we will issue a refund to the original payment method.

Refund timeline:

  • Within 14 days after we confirm receipt and condition

  • We may withhold the refund until we have the goods or valid proof of shipment

Non-Refundable Costs

The following cannot be refunded:

  • original shipping fees

  • customs duties or taxes paid upon original delivery

  • payment provider fees (e.g., Stripe/PayPal fees), if such fees are not refunded to us

  • any loss in product value resulting from improper handling


7. Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive an incorrect or defective item:

  1. Contact us immediately at service@williamfan.com

  2. Provide photos and a description of the issue

  3. Once the claim is confirmed, we will cover return shipping costs

Each case is reviewed individually.


8. Exclusions

Returns are not accepted for:

  • personalized or made-to-order goods

  • goods that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once opened

  • goods that deteriorate quickly

  • items marked as Final Sale on the product page
